The role of Stake holder networking/ engagement task group
– Identifying stake holders which help our group achieve its goals
– After approval by Chair/ Secretary, Establishing networks and relationships with stake
holders
– Prepare stake holder engagement policy and continuously monitor relevance of
engagements
– When stake holder engagement needs events, to collaborate with events organising task
group
– To work together with other task groups to achieve our common objectives
Stake holders suggested so far for engagement Include:
– Community and Church leaders, prominent personalities in Ethiopia and here in the UK
– Sister civic groups with same vision in Ethiopia and the diaspora
– Ethiopian government (Embassy)
– NGOs which can help our project- EU, USAID, AU, UNDP, UK government etc..
– The arts community
– The Ethiopian community in the UK
– University and other government bodies relevant to our activities
