Ethiopia is currently passing through one of its difficult times. There is green light in the tunnel, however on today we experience series of problems: violence, displacements, misconception on ethnic and Ethiopian (national) identities where fake and divisive information from the social media serve as a catalyst. United Ethiopians for peace and reconciliation is a civic organization started (established) by a group of concerned “silent” Ethiopian majority with an aim to promote Peace unity and strengthen National identity. It was established in London when the founding members met on 1 December 2019, approved its vision statement and objectives, and the board of trustees were appointed. United Ethiopians for peace and reconciliation is committed to work with all Ethiopians (in Ethiopia and the rest of the world), that share similar vision.  (the Ethiopian government, community based organisations, CSOs and international.)
